Played in Mexico in this shirt recently. Picked it up to support a small business and was pleasantly surprised in fit, quality and playing stretch. I own lots of major clothing, this polo, in my opinion, is just as good if not better.
1) the collar. I can’t stand a floppy collar. Looks messy. This one is structured but not in the way. Button room in the neck is nice.
2) the cut. I’m a weird body type, in between a XL and a 2X (broad shoulders). I got a XL just preparing myself to be disappointed in length of the sleeve, usually 2X sleeves get on my nerves. Not this one sleeves lay exactly where they should. Length was a tish long but that came into play for wide swings. Played 18, shirt didn’t untuck or even come close
3) breathability. A good short breathes. A great shirt will breathe with no wind.
4) pattern. I love the “elevation” pattern. I would’ve called it “topo”
5) price is a little steep. Justification is helping an up and coming brand. I’ll gladly pay a few bucks to help an American business get off the ground.
I’ll be a repeat customer. Picked up a mallet cover and a beer sleeve. I’ll review those when I use em a little more.
